Career Opportunities: Piping Designer / Engineer
General Description:
Design and detailing of piping projects, code and non-code including shop manufactured, field erected and Turn Key installations for Wellons boilers, cogeneration plants and energy systems for domestic and international applications. Travel may be required occasionally.
Required Skills:
5 years experience as piping designer for piping projects for power plant and other industrial applications.
Professional in piping software AutoPlant, AutoPipe, P&ID or similar.
AutoCAD 2009 or higher, 3D piping packages, Office and PDM software.
Easy communication.
Responsibilities:
Design and detailing of piping projects according to general directions from piping engineer and within the contractual limits.
Documentation of Wellons standards in compliancy with ASME 31.1, 31.3, Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, ASTM, AWS, etc.
Education:
Associate degree in mechanical or process engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Reports To: Process and Piping Engineer
Location: Company Headquarters, Vancouver, WA
